Now for the discussion character wise:
Clark. In this episode Clark meets Edward Teague, gets praised by Teague, capture by Teague, carved like ham by Teague, and then smacks the heck out of Teague. Lana is still frozen. Kara is still lying in milk. Clark is chasing down the last Veritas member. Clark also realizes that Lex is more of a threat than he originally thought, a threat that Chloe assumes will have to be eliminated. Tom did a good job, as always, but I'll leave the "hail Tom" junk to Triplet. (catch her review next month at Kryptonsite when they finally post it).
Lex. He got some sweet fight scenes this time and discovered a ton of clues. Lex obtained a little symbol thingy and a crystal ball for symbol, and a holographic map. Lex hit the alien jackpot so to speak. He also got carved like ham, and it was gross as junk, which gave Jimmy an interesting story. Lex's glowing map-ball, showed what looked like one of the poles (I'm starting to see how he finds the Fortress).
Chloe. Still my favorite character, she got her moments in the sun this time around. She got to get all cozy with Jimmy, while he completely ignored her. She got to use her 2 inch muscles to lift a 90 pound cross-sword and use it to break cement. And she got to stand up to Man of Steel and turn him into the Man of Jello. She got some nice moments, and she also got to help Jimmy celebrate his first article.
Jimmy. About that article. Jimmy's a photographer, not a reporter, so either his article will get shut down or he'll put it under someone else's name. If not, we just lost our mythological consistency. I do like the Jimmy character, though the character of Iceman is much better for this actor (whose name slips my mind). Jimmy's growing well and I hope it continues.
No Lois, No Lana, No Kara. This episode was missing so people, but it had plenty of adventure. I'm giving this episode 5 out of 5 glowing map-balls.
